Getting Ready

I've just spent the past couple of hours preparing for hospital tomorrow. I've packed a week's worth of bed-clothes, a couple of hats, a stack of books & DVDs (thanks Stu & Kat) as well as 2 bags of Marks & Spencer salt and vinegar crisps and a tube of Jaffa cakes (thanks Debs).

Also, thanks to my super-assistant Marissa, I now have a USB modem so should be able to get online from my bed despite the hospital saying they have no internet access for patients. This will most certainly be the difference between madness and sanity.

Sadly I have not been able to find a solution to missing the Man Utd game this weekend as well as the England game tonight since there's no cable TV in the ward. If anyone has any bright ideas, I'd love to hear them.

All that's left now is for me to go and say an emotional goodbye to my Playstation. These things are never easy, but I need to be strong.

  1. You'll be just fine, babe! Here's a big *HUG* for you for tomorrow.

As for Man U games, you can watch them live online if you've got a fast enough internet connection (now to check out that modem)... Of course you've gotta pay: http://www.watch-football.net/

Worse-case scenario, there's live match commentary on the Man U site here: http://mu.tv.manutd.com/
    Love lots! Jaime Tan. xxx
